Eco-inking in the Garden

This event has passed Get tickets

Event description

Discover the colours of the Wayi Community Garden, for playful, sensory eco-inking. Join artist Annie Bolitho for a simple, mindful and creative activity that’s perfect for adults and kids. We’ll explore natural pigments - plants, barks and earth and experience the magic of applying colours to paper. Amazing possibilities await as we learn how to produce waste-free eco-inks from our gardens.

Participants should bring along a sunhat and a feather, a stick or a bit of bark to work with. Places to this event are strictly limited. If you are no longer able to attend the event, please let us know by emailing programs@necchi.org so that we can pass your ticket on to another keen participant!

About your host

Annie Bolitho is a writer and artist who is inspired by transience, change and play. She works with materials found on the lands of Naarm. Her versatile community story/arts projects, natural pigment and small book workshops find a place wherever people gather – in libraries, gardens, neighbourhood centres, on the banks of rivers and in parks.
